I have to give a big shoot out to Steve. As the selection of pieces was truly exceptional, coming up with a choice that fit my needs required some time. Steve has helped me tremendously and provided me with great advices and helpful considerations. The atmosphere in the show was very relaxed and completely made me feel at ease and very comfortable enjoying very expensive guitars. I cannot recommend Down Home Guitars and Steve enough!

This guitar is as beautiful as described. It was very securely packed (both the shipping box and within the guitar case itself), it shipped quickly (same day), and it arrived quickly. The guitar was even cleaned and polished before it was shipped. Communication was immediate and above par. I’m grateful for the quick, clean, and easy transaction.

I recently bought a Collings OM from Down Home Guitars and could not be happier with my experience. Both of the sales associates were clearly experts, gave excellent advice, and allowed me to leisurely test out several models. I was even able to trade in a guitar and was given a fair price. Purchased a 2010 Collings SJ w/Sitka top and gorgeous Koa back and sides about a year ago. It is without doubt the finest guitar I have ever played and am very fortunate to add it to my collection.
