Purchased a 2010 Collings SJ w/Sitka top and gorgeous Koa back and sides about a year ago. It is without doubt the finest guitar I have ever played and am very fortunate to add it to my collection. Was skeptical about the age, but was I ever surprised. I couldn’t be happier with it and a BIG thank you to Downhome Guitars for being so honest a about the condition and the playability.

I am very impressed with this shop – both with the quality of their inventory as well as the responsiveness and professionalism of the staff. I brought in a guitar for potential trade, and Steve shot me straight with the value of it and what would be the best bang for my buck. I wound up getting a Collings from them and I will be back. Well worth the drive into Illinois despite the tolls.
