A great valued guitar hand built by Drew Heinonen in Minnesota. An apprentice of the renown builder Jim Olson, Drew’s build is based on attention to detail and pure tone. This very good condition 2016 model was built with woods chosen for the Fretboard Summit and followed and reviewed by The Fretboard Journal Magazine. The article focuses on a Koa OM he built at the same time, but does touch on the tone and quality of the Black Locust.
Features include full body sunburst, Ebony fretboard and bridge, Sitka Spruce braces, Maple 5-piece neck, Ivoroid bindings, 25.5″ full scale length, 1 3/4″ nut width, 2 5/16″ saddle spacing and more.
This guitar is well taken of but does have some pick scratches around the soundhole and a few small top dings and a few very light scratches on the back. Still in very good condition. There is a pickup jack ready for any pickup you would like installed. No pickup currently installed.
Includes hardshell case.
