Limited to 45 guitars worldwide, The collection consists of three different guitar builds (15 each total), each a unique tribute to the original 38 featuring new, bespoke wood combinations paired with traditional 38 style appointments- the F-38 Indian Rosewood paired and Lutz Spruce, the O-38 with Bubinga and Cedar top and this one, the F-38 Brazilian Rosewood and Sitka Spruce. This Lowden F-38 Limited Edition is built with AAAA grade Brazilian Rosewood back and sides paired with a Sitka Spruce top. Brazilian Rosewood is a very rare wood and considered the Holy Grail of tonewoods and perfectly matched with the Sitka Spruce allows more clarity and midrange. Bound in Flamed Maple, the 38-style Abalone Pearl top trim, rosette and Leaf fretboard inlays just set it apart from the rest. Extremely comfortable to play for a mid sized jumbo- it’s comfort meets old world class. Other features include a 5-piece Mahogany and Rosewood neck, Rosewood pinless bridge and overlay, Ebony fretboard, Gold Gotoh tuners with Ebony buttons, a ‘Batch 45’ interior label signed by George Lowden and numbered #31 of 45, and much more.
