Collings OM1A Hill Country Satin Adirondack Spruce and Honduran Mahogany

$9,100.00

Collings’ “Hill Country” series introduces an acoustic option that has been pushed to the far end of the tonal spectrum, offering a strong fundamental tone with a warm, woody character and full low end, all while retaining a quick response and plenty of power and cut. These guitars have a dry character and full low end that bluegrass players, in particular, will find familiar and right at home in any jam, although their responsiveness and warmth make them highly versatile and appealing for a wide range of styles. Built in very limited numbers and carried by a small number of dealers, we are proud to offer you the OM1A Hill Country Satin.

This OM1A HC is built with Honduran Mahogany back and sides with a nice bit of beeswing and flame figure paired with an Adirondack spruce top with Satin ultra-thin nitrocellulose finish, drop in saddle and 1 3/4″ nut width. The Hill Country appointments include Hill Country scalloped X-brace with no tongue brace, tortoise body bindings, Gold MOP dot inlays, blank Ebony peghead veneer, stamped logo on the back of the peghead, and unique matching, hand-poured in house appointments, including pickguard, rosette ring, wedge, and heel cap.

Other features include Honduran Mahogany neck with the Vintage Now neck carve, Ebony fretboard and bridge, Waverly Nickel Relic tuners,  Walnut 1-style back strip, fully adjustable truss rod, black/ white top purfling, Ebony pins,  1 3/4″ nut width, 2 5/16″ saddle spacing and more.

Includes Lifetime Warranty and hardshell case.
