About the OMSC
Dana Bourgeois thinks of the OMS as the 12-fret version of the OM, as opposed to the other way around. It boasts all the tonal properties of the OM, with the added power and fullness of a 12-fret. The 12-fret design places the soundhole closer to the waist of the guitar and locates the bridge at the widest part of the lower bout. This is where it can most efficiently drive the top. This throwback design allows maximum power with minimum playing effort while affording a loose, open quality to the sound. If you find yourself missing those extra two frets on standard 12-fret guitars, take them back! The OMSC has the added soft cutaway with extra frets to spare.
