The OM-45 Deluxe Bouquet celebrates Dana Bourgeois’ 45th Anniversary of building Bourgeois Guitars. Featuring a unique commemorative floral Bouquet inlay designed by Dana in conjunction with inlay artist Lauren Hook from Aulson Inlays. With countless hours in the making, the custom flowers and butterflies come to life on this anniversary OM-45 build.
The body is constructed of striking Master Grade Brazilian Rosewood from Dana’s private stash for the back and sides and a premium Bearclaw Italian Spruce top along with Aged Tone (torrefied) Adirondack Spruce bracing, Aged Tone finish and Animal Protein (AP) glue. Every edge is inlaid with 45 style Abalone Pearl on the top, back, sides, rosette, backstrip and wedge.
The Bouquet inlay on the fretboard, headstock and bridge features tulips, lilies, bell flowers and butterflies cut from Abalone Pearl, Abalone Heart, Gold Mother of Pearl, White Mother of Pearl, Pink Mussel, Cocobolo and Koa. This unique designed inlay is made up of close to 600 individually cut pieces.
Other features include full Ivoroid bindings, Gold engraved Waverly tuners, Brazilian Rosewood headstock overlay, Fossilized Antique Walrus Ivory pins, figured Mahogany neck, deluxe back strip, Luthier’s Choice label signed by Dana Bourgeois and deluxe custom Calton case.
