Here is a great short scale slope D from Bourgeois famously named “The Banjo Killer” by Bryan Sutton. This ‘Bearclaw’ Spruce and Mahogany slope D is only a 1/4″ wider at the bottom bout than a traditional dreadnought but it’s built to cut through any jam. Hence it’s name!
