This is a great sounding, excellent condition 2001 CJ from Collings built with Brazilian Rosewood back and sides and an Adirondack top and 1 3/4″ nut width. This is a big guitar, well broken in but not beat up. It did have a back crack repaired and refinished professionally in 2015. You can see the cleats inside the soundhole (see picture). Completely structurally sound and you would be hardpressed to find the repair on the back.
The Collings CJ is their ‘country jumbo’ slope shoulder dreadnought. A perfect bluegrass picking machine or barroom strummer. Built with the ‘holy grail’ of wood combination, Brazilian Rosewood and Adirondack, this guitar will give you it’s all and then some.
Includes original hardshell case.
