Lowden O-32 12-String Sitka Spruce and Indian Rosewood

The Original Series was the very first Lowden range from 1976, and the ‘O’ model is George’s original Lowden body design. This O-32 features a Sitka Spruce top and East Indian Rosewood back and sides with 12-string configuration.

Over the years the 32 has become more sought after especially because of its full bodied and yet very clear defined tone. The Sitka spruce top help to balance the Rosewood’s warm fullness. The O body size is a large jumbo with a 16 17/32″ lower bout and 5″ body depth. The Sitka Spruce and East Indian Rosewood wood combination is warm, full and clear. A huge sound in a big voiced guitar. Take one strum, hear that classic chime and giant breadth of sound, and you will know this is exactly what a 12-string should truly sound and feel like.

Handmade by George Lowden and co. in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland, his guitars have a timeless organic folk appeal. The O-32 has a satin finish (as all of his guitars) and all wood bindings, marquetry and purflings. Wonderfully stated, handmade in the old world style of building. Strum away to your favorite tunes with the full chorus sound of the O-32 12-string ring.

Includes deluxe Hiscox hardshell case and Lifetime Warranty.

Free shipping in the continental United States.
