A near mint condition 2020 Gibson Chuck Berry 1955 ES-150-T reissue hollowbody cutaway in blonde finish- the Guitar that started it all. Chuck Berry’s performances on American Bandstand in the 1950s changed the world. Dancing and duck-walking across the stage with his lucky bolo tie swinging, Chuck strummed his gorgeous Gibson ES-350T and belted out “Maybellene,” “Johnny B. Goode” and a variety of other hits that influenced nearly every major music act to follow. Chuck and his Gibson guitar became the indelible look of Rock n’ Roll.

Gibson released this first-ever very limited Chuck Berry signature model in 2020, a replica of his original 1955 ES-350T, to honor the legendary career of one of music’s greatest innovators. It features historically-correct construction and appointments, hand-picked figured Maple, a pair of fiery P-90 pickups, a replica strap and a replica of the Zuni “Sun God” bolo tie that Chuck wore throughout the 1950s. Limited to only 55 instruments sold worldwide.
