Albert has played, recorded and toured with a long who’s who cast of musicians including The Everly Brothers, Eric Clapton, Emmylou Harris and The Crickets and more over his long and illustrious career. The back, sides are highly Quilted Maple paired with a Bearclaw Sitka Spruce top and Flamed Maple neck completely finished in custom light transparent black gloss finish. Accentuated by the Flamed Koa bindings, rosette and pickguard, the guitar exudes elegance and originality. It’s beauty is only surpassed by the classic thump of the jumbo form.
Albert Lee’s signature adorns the 12th fret in Mother Of Pearl complimented by the ‘Stingray’ fretboard inlays. Half herringbone top purfling and double rosette combined with the Flamed Koa trim accent the see-through full gloss light black finish. Ebony fretboard, bridge, headstock overlay and pins along with Waverly Gold tuners with Ebony buttons complete this build. The brass plate located inside the sound features the Huss & Dalton logo and “Albert Lee MJ Deluxe #22”.
