Brazilian Rosewood
Brazilian Rosewood is long considered to be the most sought after tone wood by instrument builders and collectors for its exceptional tone quality and sustain as well as the beautiful color and figuring. The ‘Holy Grail’ of tone wood. Due to the protected nature of this rare species (Dalbergia Negra), this guitar will not be shipped internationally.
Adirondack Spruce
Adirondack Red Spruce is considered the best of the best for top wood. It’s light but stiff structure and response give it the ultimate headroom and unmatched tonal quality is unmatched. This set is torrefied “thermo-cured”, a process where the resins are cooked out, replicating wood that is opened up like a broken in set of wood, but right out of the box. The wood is not stained with aging toner, this is the true color of the wood.
