The Weber Crooked River Limited Edition F mandolin came to life when the team of Weber craftsmen gathered for a collective discussion to design a re-engineered, spectacular F style mandolin. Five special sets of 3A Adirondack Red Spruce were selected along with extraordinary premium Highly Flamed Maple. When the conversation turned to finish, the team brainstormed an antique gloss burst, reminiscent of the rusty high canyon walls surrounding the Crooked River – and so it is named, The Crooked River Limited Edition F14-F. The detailed hand inlayed purfling and the sculpted body work merging into Weber’s trademark Swallowtail – The Crooked River is a work of artistic splendor. To top it off, it is built with a compound tapered dovetail neck joint and was hand-voiced, both contributing to its large presence and crisp sound.
