Never thought I’d do it…

…buy a delicate instrument sight-unseen over the internet from a shop four hours away. But higher end banjos are uncommon in my neighborhood so I did. I found the Vega I wanted at Down Home. I thought the price was very fair. I gave them a call. I talked with Steve. He was very helpful. He stayed in touch with me. He kept me updated on when it would ship and when it would arrive. They shipped it overnight; for which I am extremely grateful. And when I opened the box I found it was packed so securely I actually felt a little foolish for being as worried as I was. Plus, the kids had a great time with all the bubble wrap. I’ve never walked through the door at Down Home but the next time I buy an instrument I will look here first. Thanks guys.
