The Gold Label 814E is a new kind of Taylor sound featuring a new body shape- the Super Auditorium. A slightly larger version of Taylor’s Grand Auditorium shape, it yields more impressive power with a heritage-inspired warmth and richness perfect for traditionalists and contemporary ears alike. Back and sides of Honduran Rosewood are paired with a torrefied Sitka Spruce top, delivering more low-end presence, clear trebles and a complex harmonic character with overtones that bloom as notes resonate. Inside, a new iteration of Taylor’s V-Class bracing dials up more sustain, greater volume and accuracy all the way up the neck. A new long-tenon neck joint improves overall resonance and sonic transfer, also providing adjustability whenever the need arises. This Super Auditorium guitar sports a suite of appointments like the new Pearl Continental inlay, new pickguard design, grained Ivoroid trim, antique chrome Gotoh 510 tuners with Ebony buttons, Bone bridge pins, and a gloss-finished body. Plug in and play with the LR Baggs Element VTC electronics built in.
