This upgraded D-28 Custom features Guatemalan Rosewood back and sides with an Adirondack Spruce top with 1935 sunburst. The European Flamed Maple binding is an eye catching contrast to the rich 1930’s sunburst and the reddish browns of the Guatemalan Rosewood. The one piece Genuine Mahogany neck with low profile neck shape and 1 11/16″ nut made for ease of playing features Gold Grover butterbean tuners, Guatemalan Rosewood overlay and Ebony fretboard with Abalone Pearl ‘Alternate Torch’ inlay and CF MARTIN block inlay. The Abalone 45 style marquis rosette and Maple black top purflings ties the top together and the Adirondack Spruce scalloped bracing under the hood drives the punch, warmth and volume you expect in a D-28 custom shop build.
