This 6-piece set of striking Tasmanian Tiger Myrtle features figuring and rare subtle flame throughout and the Ebony contoured armrest and bindings ties the mesmerizing tonewoods together. This is a serious on-of-a-kind Lowden guitar.

Tiger Myrtle is a rare tonewood found in the rainforests of Tasmania. The black heartwood can cause the rare effect of streaking in the wood giving it the look of tiger stripes on the orangish hued wood. It has the responsiveness of Rosewood with the balance of Mahogany and clarity of midrange of Walnut or Maple.

Other features include Abalone Pearl and Tiger Myrtle rosette, Ebony extended fretboard with Maple purfling, Rosewood pinless bridge, Ancient Bog Oak headstock overlays, Mahogany and Rosewood 5-piece neck, Maple, Mahogany and Rosewood purflings, Gotoh Gold 510 tuners with Ebony buttons, Ebony heel cap and wedge, bone split saddle, and more.
