This is a rare 2007 Larrivee L-10 Madagascar, made by Jean Larrivee’ and company in California. The L-10 is one of the top deluxe models built by them and this one features Madagascar Rosewood back and sides paired with a great set of highly figured Bearclaw Sitka Spruce topped with figured Maple bindings and Paua Pearl inlays.
A comfortable grand auditorium slope style build, the L is a comfortable 14 fret guitar that perfectly combines the warmth and depth of a dreadnought but in a slightly smaller and curvaceous package highlighting the midrange clarity of an OM.
Features include Ebony fretboard and bridge, Paua Pearl 41 style top purfling and rosette and Vine fretboard and bridge inlays, Ivoroid neck binding and heelcap, Ebony headstock overlay, Nickel tuners with Ebony buttons and more.
This guitar is in excellent condition, with very little fretwear and plays nicely. Only flaw is a slight finish crack under 2″ long on the back at the waist on the bass side. This is not in the wood, only the gloss finish and is over a brace as well. No structural issue at all.
Includes original hardshell case.
