Huss & Dalton T-0014 Sinker Mahogany and Thermo-Cured Adirondack Spruce

So you say you need a small guitar with 14 frets clear of the body? Look no further than the T-0014 custom, a short-scale 14-fret flat top with a big voice. Just slightly smaller than an OM, this traditional comfort classic hearkens back to the popular smaller body guitars of the early 20th century.

The back and sides of the T-0014 are old growth Belizean Sinker Mahogany with nice figuring and color. This wood is the old stuff- Mahogany that was cut down in the 19th century and has been literally sunken in a river in Belize for centuries until recently salvaged. This wood was encapsulated in the mud in a environment void of oxygen so it did not rot. Instead, it aged and enriched the wood over time, making it some of the best Mahogany we have heard in a new guitar.

Paired perfectly with the Sinker Mahogany is a thermo-cured Adirondack Red Spruce top, considered by many as the ‘holy grail’ of top wood. This wood has been aged in a process called torrefaction, where the wood is heated in an inert atmosphere void of oxygen or carbon dioxide, ‘cooking’ the resins and simulates and aged piece of wood.

The T-0014 custom features comfort, clarity, warmth and punch rolled into one package with access to 14 frets for versatility. A great couch or lap guitar, but also perfect for a jam session or studio.

Includes deluxe TKL tweed hardshell case and Lifetime Warranty.

Free shipping in the continental United States.
