Each Eastman MD515 mandolin is individually hand-built using traditional materials & “Old World” craftsmanship with solid Spruce top, solid Maple back & sides, Ebony fingerboard & adjustable ebony bridge. F-style body with F-holes for superb tone & projection.
Features include carved solid Spruce top, solid carved Maple back, sides and neck, gloss nitrocellulose lacquer ‘classic’ finish, Ebony radiused fretboard and adjustable bridge, Ivoroid top binding, chrome tailpiece, Nickel tuners with Pearl buttons, Bone nut, white Mother of Pearl dot inlays, black/ white top purfling, 1 3/32″ nut width, 13 7/8″ scale length and 1 5/8″ string spacing.
