The custom D2HA Sunburst is a rare bird dreadnought with an identity crisis. It is spec’d out as a D2H which is a standard Rosewood model but we chose Mahogany with a natural finish to highlight the wood paired with an Adirondack Spruce top with sunburst. It is wrapped in the 2 style Ivoroid bindings with square and diamond fretboard inlays and herringbone top purflings. Custom Adirondack Spruce pre-war style scalloped braces and no tongue brace under the hood drive this eye catching flatpicking powerhouse.
This has the richness and balance of Mahogany and Adirondack with clarity and punch. A great looking one of a kind versatile guitar with the comfortable standard 1 11/16″ nut width with modified V neck makes this a great flatpicking powerhouse. Depth and punch and sharpness will this cutting through any jams and turning heads anywhere you play it.
