Collings AT 16 Archtop Guitar Blonde Used (2009)

Mint condition Collings AT 16. This is their premium, extremely rare, 16″ hand carved arch top guitar in natural Blonde gloss finish.
A rarity among guitars, The Collings Archtop 16″ is a prized collectors piece. With premium tonewood hand picked by Bill Collings and personally overseen by him, this fully carved all acoustic archtop is based on the earliest American f-hole archtops of the 1920s. The warm and balanced response has converted many flattop players to the clarity, projection, and immediate response that an archtop instrument can provide. The simple appointments of this sleek guitar, highlighted by the gracefully shaded finish, prove that less can indeed be more.
Features a fully carved Italian Spruce top with slim contour F holes, Premium Flamed Maple back, sides and neck, Ebony fretboard, adjustable floating bridge, floating pickguard and headstock overlay.  Fully bound in Ivoroid on the body, neck and headstock with a bound pickguard, this collector’s archtop tastefully pays homage to the original big body guitars of the early 20th century. Other features include high gloss nitrocellulose finish, bone nut, Nickel trapeze-style tailpiece, Mother of Pearl dot inlays and logo and Nickel Waverly tuners with Ivoroid buttons. The C-shaped neck shape, 1 11/16″ nut width and 25 1/2″ scale length insure comfort and playability. Label signed by Bill Collings and numbered 41.
Includes original deluxe hardshell case.
Free shipping in the continental United States.
