Bourgeois Concert Parlor 42 Vine Brazilian Rosewood and Aged Tone Adirondack Spruce

Original price was: $33,449.00.Current price is: $30,105.00.

This exceptional 42-style Concert Parlor from Bourgeois Guitars was a standout at the 2025 Fretboard Summit in Chicago. As only the second Concert Parlor ever built by Bourgeois, it features premium Brazilian Rosewood back and sides paired with an Aged Tone torrefied Adirondack Spruce top. Lavish Abalone Pearl 42-style top purflings and rosette, intricate Vine inlays on the fretboard and headstock, an English Holly pyramid bridge and bindings, and a 12-fret Mahogany neck with slotted headstock complete the aesthetic.

Designed for beauty and performance, this guitar is incredibly responsive, ideal for fingerstyle players yet fully capable of handling a flatpick with ease. The 42-style Concert Parlor blends ornate, turn-of-the-century inspiration with modern craftsmanship and design. The custom 12-fret Concert Parlor delivers a rich, powerful voice that far exceeds expectations. A true tonal powerhouse in a refined, vintage-inspired package.

Features include Aged Tone torrefied Adirondack Spruce bracing, Animal Protein glue construction, English Holly boxed wedge and heelcap, Antique Walrus Ivory pins with black dots, Brazilian Rosewood headstock overlay, Waverly Nickel 3 on a plate relic tuners, Ebony fretboard, Dana Bourgeois signature wood backstrip, Maple/ black back and side purflings, Gold Bourgeois logo on back of headstock, Bone nut and saddle, 1 3/4″ nut width, 2 5/16″ saddle spacing and more.

A recent addition to the Bourgeois lineup and one of our new favorites, the Concert Parlor is a scaled-up version of their smallest model, the Piccolo Parlor. While it shares the same 7.5″ waist, every other dimension has been expanded. With a 13.5″ lower bout, 9.25″ upper bout, 4″ body depth, and a 19″ body length, this model offers a distinctive silhouette reminiscent of early 12-fret Size 1 and 0 guitars from the turn of the century. Sitting between the Piccolo Parlor and Bourgeois’ 00 12-fret model, the Concert Parlor is just slightly smaller than the 00 but features a bit more body depth and length. Its comfortable size makes it perfect for fingerpicking, whether you’re playing delicate melodies or bluesy riffs. The powerful combination of Brazilian Rosewood and Adirondack Spruce, a pairing often hailed as the “Holy Grail”, delivers punchy dynamics, wide tonal range, and glass like clarity.

Includes hardshell case and Lifetime Warranty.
