An excellent condition 2022 D2 (think classic style-28 appointments) from luthier Matthew Arcara in Portland, Maine. Built like a pre-war style D-28 with Brazilian Rosewood back and sides paired with an Adirondack Spruce sunburst top, this is considered by many to be the holy grail of tonewood combinations resulting in a beasty robust dreadnought. Deep and warm with clear and punchy mids and highs perfect for flatpicking and strumming.
Features Ivoroid bindings, Ebony fretboard and bridge, Mahogany neck with adjustable trussrod, herringbone top purfling, Nickel Waverly tuners with butterbean knobs, nitrocellulose lacquer gloss finish, 1 3/4″ nut and more. This is a sweet dreadnought that will cut through any jam.
This guitar is very well taken care with only a tiny ding in the top upper bout bass side that does not even come out in photos and very little to no fret wear. There is a convenient strap button properly installed in the neck.
Includes original hardshell case.
