Deering John McEuen Signature Model 5 String Banjo

A founding member of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, John McEuen has continually performed since 1964 – 8,500 concerts and 300 television shows throughout more than 3 million miles – with the band and as a solo performer. Beyond performing, he has a rich history of creating, producing and preserving original and traditional folk and acoustic music, and taking it to new audiences. John has always played banjo, from the historic multi- platinum hit record “Will the Circle be Unbroken” in 1971 to each concert he plays today.

Deering Banjos pays homage to this famous banjo ‘road warrior’ with the John McEuen Signature Model banjo, made of beautiful Curly Maple stained a golden honey and trimmed in ivoroid and Coral Snake purfling. White binding encircles the peghead where John McEuen’s name is set into the artfully designed floral pattern that gracefully adorns the peghead and ebony fingerboard. D-Tuners are installed on the 2nd and 3rd Strings. Adorned with engraved 24 karat gold and chrome metal parts, accented with premium engraving on the tone ring, armrest and tailpiece. This exquisite banjo has a gold plated Deering -06- tone ring and a slightly deeper resonator for the precise sound John wanted.

Includes deluxe Deering hardshell case and Lifetime Warranty.
