It’s a unique combination and needs the right home. This Bourgeois Small Jumbo has tone woods hand picked by Dana Bourgeois and Steve Haberichter of Down Home Guitars. This all custom features highly Flamed European Maple back and sides, Adirondack Red Spruce top with some nice ‘bearclaw’ figuring, Cocobolo binding and heelcap, Flamed Maple neck(a rare offering from Dana, and always the best, most exquisite Maple), triple bound top purfling, wood ‘arrow’ back strip, Gold Waverly tuners, Fossil Walrus Ivory bridge pins, and Tortoise Fire Stripe pickguard.
Standard features are Ebony fretboard and bridge, tiny dot inlay, 25” short scale, 1 23/32” nut width, 2.2” saddle spacing, and bone nut and saddle. We hand picked these tonewoods at Dana’s shop. This has all the crisp tones you are looking for in Maple but with added punch of Adirondack This is truly a versatile guitar for many kinds of music.
