The king daddy of OMs, this is the pinnacle guitar to come out of Dana Bourgeois’ small shop in Lewiston, ME. #8000 is a one of a kind masterpiece, featuring Dana’s new, never before used Ghost Flower inlays in gold, white and multi-colored Abalone Pearl inlaid fretboard, headstock, bridge, pickguard and heelcap. All the bells and whistles on this truly heirloom instrument. Built with Master Grade Brazilian Rosewood back and sides with silky flamed figuring, Master Grade Aged Tone Adirondack Spruce top and braces, Flamed Mahogany one piece neck, Animal Protein (AP) glue and full Aged Tone finish. Colorful Abalone purflings grace every edge, including along the wedge and neck plus the backstrip with herringbone border and rosette. The Ghost Flower motif was made specifically for this guitar by Aulson Inlay. Dana Bourgeois had a fascination with the small white flower found in his native Maine and the idea for #8000 was born.
