We are proud to partner with Bourgeois Guitars to showcase a great collection of builds for the 2021 IBMA World of Bluegrass conference, trade show and festival September 29th – October 3rd 2021. The International Bluegrass Music Association is the driving force behind the preservation, support and forward momentum of bluegrass music.
There are 10 guitars available in the collection that are all available on first come, first serve basis. Handmade by Dana Bourgeois and company in Lewiston, Maine the guitars are models copied or reminiscent of Bourgeois guitars played by talented artists. The L-DBO played by Sierra Hull is a nod to the old Gibson L-00 smaller slope shoulder but with power. The OM large soundhole is something to behold, the Slope D models, like the Sunburst Aged Tone Adirondack Spruce and figured Walnut played by The Gibson Brothers is a gem to the dreadnoughts like the ones played by Trey Hensley and Bryan Sutton. The D Nova is a completely different large soundhole design with large oval hole and shallow body depth, arm bevel and soft cutaway can be seen onstage with the driving guitarist of The Infamous Stringdusters, Andy Falco.
