A centerpiece of the 2023 NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA, this is a great example of a custom F-35 from Lowden Guitars. Built with colorful AAAA grade Cocobolo with a wonderful grain and reddish hue. Cocobolo is a true Rosewood (Dalbergia retusa) from Central and South America, that some feel has the tonal palete of the highly prized Brazilian Rosewood. The top is an equally colorful set of reclaimed AAAA Sinker Redwood with fine contrasting dark streaks. Custom features include figured Maple contoured arm bevel and bindings plus Maple and Rosewood 5-piece neck, a custom feature not normally found on the 35 series builds.
Other features include Abalone Pearl and Rosewood rosette, multi-wood purflings, Rosewood pinless bridge with split bone saddle, Ebony fretboard with Maple purflings, Ebony headstock overlays, heel cap and wedge and more.
