The 50 Series is George Lowden’s top of the line builds with all premium Master Grade tonewoods. This Lowden F-50 mid-sized jumbo custom was the featured Lowden guitar on display at the 2023 NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA this April. This is George’s favorite build (one of ours as well!) featuring an old growth Sinker Redwood top and rare African Blackwood for the back and sides, a true Rosewood that some say can rival or exceed the tonal characteristics of the famed Brazilian Rosewood. It is as good as it gets- with all the bells and whistles and extra trim. Custom upgrades include Figured Koa contoured arm bevel and bindings, 38-style Abalone Pearl top trim and Leaf fretboard inlays, upgraded inlay package featuring Ebony bound headstock with Maple purflings and Koa heel binding with wood purflings and figured Maple and Rosewood 5-piece neck.
