A good condition 1982 Martin D-35 that is a perfect player’s guitar. Dings and bumps that you would expect from a guitar that is nearly 40 years old. It’s seen some play, broken in with that Martin dreadnought sound. 1982 Martins are sought after because they made only just over 3000 instruments that entire year- the least amount in a single year since 1941, and they never made fewer since.
Three-piece Indian Rosewood back and sides with a Sitka Spruce top with Ebony fretboard and bridge and Ivoroid bound body and fretboard. There is a slight discoloration of the binding on the fretboard where the body meets the neck, down on to the top. Typical of this time period of play. There is a piezo undersaggle pickup with battery installed. Mahogany neck with reinforced T bar truss, Indian Rosewood overlay, Nickel tuners, Pearl dot inlays, black/ white top purfling and rosette and 1 11/16″ nut width are some other standard featured of the D-35.
Includes TKL molded hardshell case.
