The OM-45 Custom features Guatemalan Rosewood back and sides paired with an Adirondack Spruce top treated with Martin’s Vintage Tone System (VTS), a torrefied aging process using only the highest-grade wood, along with Golden Era scalloped bracing under the hood. Dazzling Blue Paua Pearl can be found throughout, from the 45-style purfling decorating every edge: top, back, sides, rosette, neck heel, and wedge plus the intricate “Tree of Life” inlay spanning the fretboard, bridge, and pickguard— also crafted from matching Guatemalan Rosewood with a gloss finish, to the Modified Alternate Torch and Martin logo headstock inlay, also set in Guatemalan Rosewood.
Additional appointments include full-figured Hawaiian Koa body, fretboard, and headstock bindings, a one-piece Genuine Mahogany neck with a 1 3/4″ nut width, Gold Grover tuners, Ebony fretboard and bridge, white pins with Paua Pearl dots and more.
