Here it is- the first ever Baritone guitar from Bourgeois Guitars! Many years in the making, this one of kind deep voiced 14-fret Slope D build will expand your musical and tonal horizons. One strum and you will know the endless possibilities that await. A highlight at the 2025 Fretboard Summit in Chicago this past August, the Baritone is built with highly figured Hawaiian Koa back and sides with deep flame figuring and contrasting heartwood paired with a figured Aged Tone torrefied Adirondack Spruce top that shimmers and changes when it moves. DB Signature specs include Dana’s signature wood herringbone purfling, Ziricote full body, fretboard and snakehead headstock bindings, bone diamond and squares inlay, Gold Waverly tuners with Snakewood buttons and DB signature rosette and wood backstrip. The full Aged Tone package- Bourgeois’ proprietary Aged Tone thin gloss finish, Animal Protein glue construction plus the Aged Tone Adirondack Spruce top and bracing under the hood gives this custom Baritone a vintage power punch.
The Baritone is very versatile and the 27″ scale allows for different tunings. This is tuned low B to high B so take a standard 6 string, add a low B and sans the high E.
Other features include Mahogany neck, Ebony fretboard and bridge, Ziricote headstock overlay, Maple and black back, sides and headstock purfling, Bone arrows and logo headstock inlays, Bone pins with black dots, 1 13/16″ nut width, 2 5/16″ saddle spacing, 27″ scale length and more.
Includes hardshell case and Lifetime Warranty.
Free shipping in the continental United States.
