This excellent condition 2021 Custom Shop build is inspired by the 1937 D-18 Authentic model with many of the same features you would find on the original build.
Authentic style features include light weight premium Adirondack Spruce VTS top and 1937 Authentic style forward shifted scalloped bracing with premium Mahogany back and sides with vintage Hide Glue construction. Other authentic specs include T-bar truss rod and dovetail neck joint, Genuine Mahogany neck with Authentic 1937 barrel and heel, Authentic vintage low gloss finish with Authentic 1937 sunburst, Brazilian Rosewood headstock overlay, VTS bridge plate and tortoise pickguard under finish.
Other features include Black Ebony fretboard and bridge, black bindings, old style 18 boltaron ring rosette, Waverly Nickel tuners with oval buttons, Premium Mahogany wedge, black/ white multi-stripe purfling, Brazilian Rosewood thin back purfling, Authentic style logo, Abalone Pearl old style 18 dots fretboard inlay, Bone nut and long saddle, Ebony pins, 1 3/4″ nut width, 2 5/16″ saddle spacing, 25.4″ scale length and more.
