Original price was: $16,069.00.Current price is: $14,460.00.

We partnered with Bourgeois for a collaboration of 6 premium guitars, each in a unique body size. The Down Home Guitars/ Bourgeois Guitars Limited Edition features handpicked tonewoods and stunning aesthetics. Limited Edition builds feature premium rich and contrasting Cocobolo back and sides paired with rare figured Bearclaw Adirondack Spruce large soundhole tops Dana Bourgeois had stashed away and the first ever build with Cocobolo segmented tile 41-style top purfling and rosette. Figured Koa fully bound body, neck and headstock, Brazilian Rosewood fretboard, bridge and headstock overlay, Koa rosette plus Gold Waverly tuners with Snakewood buttons top it all off.

This 000 Cutaway large soundhole model- model of this Limited Edition, a first for Bourgeois, features  full deluxe figured Hawaiian Koa body, neck, headstock and large soundhole bindings, first ever Cocobolo segmented tile rosette and top purfling, Pearl diamonds and arrows fretboard inlay, Pearl AJ headstock inlays and logo, Antique Bone pins, Mahogany satin finish neck, 1 3/4″ nut width, 2 5/16″ saddle spacing, 25″ short scale length and more. Aged Tone torrefied Adirondack Spruce bracing and Animal Protein glue construction under the hood drives this tone machine.

In the mid-1980s Dana Bourgeois helped pioneer the reintroduction of the long-scale, wide-necked Orchestra Model, now the second most popular acoustic guitar after the Dreadnought. The OM’s short-scale 000 cousin, however, often receives less attention from dealers and players. Seeking to give the 000 a more distinct sonic identity, Dana has reduced the standard X brace to
1/4” width, resulting in a powerful, responsive voice not often associated with short-scale guitars. This is a stunning example of the versatility and richness of this body size and configuration.

Includes hardshell case and Lifetime Warranty.
