The Santa Cruz 00-Skye model is a 00 size guitar with a deeper body and short scale configuration built with Cocobolo back and sides. This excellent addition 2016 model was custom ordered new by us with an Italian Spruce top with a bit of bearclaw figuring, giving it a slightly more broken in feel while still retaining the crisp, clear bell like qualities and forward punch it is known for, as well as the more comfortable 1 3/4″ nut width. Eric Skye also plays and records with an Italian Spruce top version of his guitar as well as the standard Adirondack Spruce top this model normally comes with. This guitar just plays itself in your hands. Amazing tone and dynamic range.
