These builds are labeled ‘George Lowden Luthier’ and are extremely rare- with an average of 4 guitars built a year. A masterpiece that is designed, selected and painstakingly built by the master himself.
For this F sized guitar, George picked from his private stash a premium set of figured Fiddleback Mahogany for the back and sides along with a master grade set of old Adirondack Spruce for the top with supple cross grain and natural aged coloring. The Ebony arm bevel and bindings adds comfort and contrast to the body while the figured Koa neck bindings adds a classy artistic flair. Sparkling blue and green Abalone Pearl top purflings and rosette with figured Koa trim the top while the custom butterfly and branch inlay by Larry Robinson graces the fretboard.
An amazing balanced guitar with a rich and round bass, glassy tone and clear bell like trebles, this is definitely a keeper for any collection.
