Huge sounding powerhouse dreadnought that is a replica of the vintage guitar in Martin’s Museum and is now a collector’s Martin guitar. This instrument is copied using CT scans at the Smithsonian Institute to reproduce the same build. A super clean true bluegrass cannon at a good price.
D-18 Authentic 1937
The pre-war Martin D-18s are the most revered vintage models. These Authentic copies feature Adirondack Red Spruce soundboard and period correct hand-scalloped X-bracing, Ebony fretboard and bridge with 1 3/4″ and 2 5/16″ spacing, fossilized Ivory nut and saddle and more. This is an Authentic series recreation of the original 1937 model and is built completely with Hide Glue, like they did in the old days.
