This one of a kind MJ features an incredibly versatile combination of tonewoods- African Blackwood back and sides with a Sinker Redwood top. These woods were hand picked and are an incredible combination sonically as well as visually. Amazing color in the rare striped Sinker Redwood stands out with the dark African Blackwood- a true Rosewood having no relation to the Australian Blackwood (which is strangely not dark at all) highlighted by the custom fully bound figured Hawaiian Koa and half herringbone (rope) top purfling and rosette. The Abalone Stingray fretboard inlays add a subtle dazzle in any light.
