Dynamite comes in small packages. That’s how we think of the piccolo parlor guitar from Dana Bourgeois. You would be amazed at the tone that comes out of this body size, especially with the upgraded Madagascar Rosewood and Adirondack with the Age Tone/ hide glue package. This little 12 fret is an incredibly comfortable and versatile guitar. This guitar features the DB signature package for added aesthetics. Dan Bourgeois’ signature multi-colored wood herringbone top purfling, arrow backstrip and multi-ring rosette with highly Figured Hawaiian Koa body binding, bone diamond fretboard inlays and Gold Waverly tuners with Snakewood buttons. We upgraded this one with Antique Fossilized Walrus Ivory pins with matching strap button installed in the neck. This 2016 pre-owned guitar is in new/ mint condition and was custom ordered by us originally. No issues at all and absolutely not lacking in tone or looks. If you are looking for something big in a small package for a good price, look no further.
12 Fret Piccolo Parlor
Bourgeois’ smallest body style, the 12 fret Piccolo Parlor is not a travel guitar and not a toy. Advancements in acoustic theory and construction technique provide a unique opportunity to take a fresh look at the possibilities inherent in a baby parlor guitar with steel strings. Ours has a full harmonic and dynamic voice in standard tuning, suitable for solo or ensemble work or vocal accompaniment. Serious players have used the Piccolo Parlor to showcase a wide variety of playing styles but have only begun to scratch the surface of its possibilities.
