Bourgeois D Country Boy HS Adirondack Spruce and Mahogany Aged Tone Custom

Bryan Sutton is known for his flawless bluegrass guitar playing, with an amazing flatpicking prowess and a clean and light touch that fills a room. This is a copy of a guitar Dana Bourgeois made for him and was a featured instrument on display at the 2021 IBMA World Of Bluegrass show in Raleigh, NC this October. This features Dana’s ‘secret weapons’ of Aged tone torrefied Adirondack scalloped bracing with natural non-torrefied Adirondack Spruce top, Aged Tone full body gloss finish and AP (Animal Protein) glue under the hood to drive the Adirondack Spruce top and Honduran Mahogany back and sides.

As a customized dreadnought, this guitar is part of Bourgeois’ Heirloom Series (HS), which adds extra features to the normally standard Country Boy build. Other features include Brazilian Rosewood headstock overlay and heel cap, 1930’s style rosette and top purfling, cut-through bone saddle on traditional Ebony bridge, Tortoise body binding, Pearl long pattern vintage style dots and logo, Ebony pins, Waverly Nickel tuners with oval buttons, Mahogany neck with 1 23/32″ nut width and more.

Includes deluxe hardshell case and Lifetime Warranty.
