H-13 Custom 42 Brazilian- This beauty has some of the nicest Brazilian Rosewood bookmatched back and sides we’ve ever seen from Santa Cruz. Made by Richard Hoover for the 2008 Summer NAMM show, the wood has papers documenting it was cut down in the mid 1930’s and does not break any preservation treaty for this rare species. Paired with a highly bearclawed Italian Alpine Spruce Top with 42 style Green Heart Abalone purfling and rosette, Abalone torch SCGC headstock inlay on Ebony, pyramid stle Ebony Bridge, Waverly Tuners with ivoroid buttons, and Richard glued this guitar with hot hide glue.
